Steppe & Stone LLC was founded by Paloa Piriyev.
Before starting the company, Paloa spent years working alongside small and mid-sized businesses, watching them get underserved by the software industry: priced out of serious engineering, or sold generic tools that never quite fit how they actually operated. She saw a gap between the kind of technical talent large enterprises could afford and what growing businesses in healthcare, logistics, and construction actually needed to run better.
Steppe & Stone was built to close that gap. The company started with a focus on custom software and cloud systems for operationally intensive businesses, and has since grown to include AI automation, connected IoT platforms, and full-scale system integrations, always grounded in the same idea: build practical technology around how a business actually works, not the other way around.
